In this October 2020, former Home And Away star Jake Ryan welcomed his first child, son Wolf William.
And ahead of his boy’s first birthday, the actor spoke about his fatherhood journey with his DJ girlfriend, Alice Quiddington.

Jake said on Wednesday, speaking to the Daily Mail Australia: “It’s not an easy road; fatherhood or parenthood.” But it is the most rewarding and the most lovely thing time. I loved every second of it.

Jake son Wolf will turn one on October 6th, and the TV star says that his life has already taken on a new meaning and purpose.

‘My days are only consumed with him, and everything you do for life is for your child, which is outstanding now. It’s nice to have that, to have someone else to work towards, apart from you, “he said.

While he joked that he goes to bed early and have less sleep than ever before, he found being a father ‘good-looking and rewarding’ father and was looking forward to more milestones with his little man as the years go on.

Jake also finds it funny that his character helped train him for his role as a real-life father on Channel Seven’s soap Home and Away.

‘I’m kind of laughing at the plot of Robbo, because he was becoming a father as I was kind of leaving the show, and I got a great crash course in how to deal with babies for the last eight weeks I’ve been there,’ he said.

Alice and Jake announced that they were expecting their first child in May last year-the same month that Jake was spotted shooting acts with a baby on the soap with his on-screen wife, Bachelor star Sam Frost. During the season premiere in January 2020, Jake was melodramatically killed in Home and Away.

For his new film Savage, which is inspired by the true stories of the street gangs of New Zealand, he is currently on the press circuit.

The star plays a violent gang enforcer, the Savages, and sports distinctive facial tattoos.

The film, directed by Sam Kelly, wrapped shot in October 2018, a year before Jake’s son was born.
